What HerCompass is

HerCompass is a symptom assessment and tracking tool for women going through menopause. It provides personalized nutritional recommendations based on your self-reported symptoms, habits, and lifestyle. By using HerCompass, you agree to these terms.

Not medical advice

Your account

You can take the symptom assessment quiz without an account. To use the daily symptom tracker, you need to sign in with your email or Google account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@her-compass.com.

What you can do

You may use HerCompass for your personal, non-commercial health tracking. You may not use automated systems to scrape or extract data from the app, attempt to access other users' data, misrepresent your identity, or use the service for any illegal purpose.

Your data

You own your health data. We store it to provide the service, but you can request a copy or ask us to delete it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

Accuracy of information

Our recommendations are based on published nutritional research, but science evolves and individual responses vary. We do our best to keep our recommendation engine accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that every recommendation will be effective for every person. Your results depend on the accuracy of the information you provide.

Service availability

We aim to keep HerCompass available at all times, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the service offline for maintenance, updates, or in response to unforeseen technical issues. We will do our best to give you advance notice when possible.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HerCompass and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, any health outcomes resulting from following recommendations provided by the app.

Intellectual property

The HerCompass name, design, recommendation engine, and all original content are the property of HerCompass. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the service without our written permission.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@her-compass.com. We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and the European Union. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights under EU law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the app. Continued use of HerCompass after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
